Shipping policy
Order Fulfillment:
We process and ship orders from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm EST. Orders are not shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, or Federal Holidays. While we strive to dispatch orders on the same day, please allow 2 to 5 business days for processing. Your understanding during this time is appreciated as we meticulously create and securely package your samples. During holidays, promotional events, or sales, shipping times may be extended.
On occasion, certain products may be backordered or out of stock due to high demand, resulting in a delayed shipment. In such instances, we will contact the customer in advance to communicate the situation.
Destination & Shipping Charges:
We offer worldwide shipping. However, international shipping charges will be applied. The shipping rate is calculated based on the destination country and location and may vary.
Regular shipping within the US typically takes 2-3 business days, though exact timing may vary due to potential postal service delays beyond our control. Expedited shipping within the US is expected to take 1-2 days, but unforeseen postal service delays may occur. International shipments may experience varied processing times, so please allow extra time for delivery.
Returns, Exchanges, Replacements & Refunds:
Returns are not accepted. Our Niche and Designer fragrance samples are 100% guaranteed genuine and authentic, hand-decanted from the original manufacturers' bottles. Due to the inability to guarantee the condition of products once opened or used, we do not accept returns.
In the event of receiving a damaged product, please email us within 3 days of receiving your shipment, providing details and attaching a clear picture for a replacement. Replacements require an accurate image of the damage.
If a mistake occurs and you receive the wrong fragrance, contact us within 3 days of receiving your shipment with details and a picture of the product. Replacements are contingent upon a clear image of the incorrect fragrance or the full order.
Inspect your package upon receipt and notify us within 3 days of any issues. We do not replace or exchange items beyond this timeframe. All shipping fees for the original order are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless we made an error or the goods arrived damaged.
Please allow 3-5 business days for the transaction to post to your account.
Cancellations
Orders may be canceled only before they have been shipped. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled.
If you no longer wish to receive a shipped order, you may refuse delivery and have the unopened package returned to us. Return shipping costs, carrier fees, customs charges, and any other expenses associated with the return are the customer's responsibility and may be deducted from any eligible refund.
A full refund will be issued only if the returned package is received with its original outer packaging intact, unopened, and free from any signs of tampering. Once the returned package has been received, it will be inspected. If the return is approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
L'acqua Dolce Perfumes reserves the right to cancel, refuse, or place any order on hold prior to shipment, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to orders suspected of fraud or unauthorized activity, payment verification issues, pricing or inventory errors, or any other circumstance that prevents us from fulfilling the order.
Orders Not Received:
If an order has been scanned as delivered to the correct address/postal code, we will not replace or refund the order. We are not responsible for orders claimed lost or stolen after delivery. Allow a day or two grace period for shipments scanned as "delivered," as the package may be pre-scanned while in transit.
Order Verification & Right to Cancel
To help protect our customers and prevent unauthorized transactions, all orders are subject to review and verification prior to shipment.
L'acqua Dolce Perfumes reserves the right to cancel, refuse, or place any order on hold at our sole discretion if we are unable to verify the payment information or if an order appears to present an elevated risk of fraud or unauthorized use. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Multiple failed payment attempts.
- Mismatched billing information.
- Billing and shipping information that cannot be verified.
- Orders flagged by our payment processor or fraud detection systems.
- Use of anonymous proxies, VPNs, or other methods that prevent identity verification.
- Any activity that reasonably suggests the order may be unauthorized or fraudulent.
If an order is canceled prior to shipment, any captured payment will be refunded to the original payment method. We may contact the customer to request additional verification before processing certain orders; however, we are under no obligation to do so before canceling an order.
L'acqua Dolce Perfumes reserves the right to refuse service or cancel any order at any time, with or without notice, when necessary to protect our customers, our business, or our payment processing systems.
