Return and refund policy
Returns: All sales are final. Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
All fragrances sold by L’acqua Dolce are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and authentic. Due to the nature of fragrance products, we cannot guarantee the condition or integrity of items once opened or used.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges based on personal fragrance preferences. Our sample sizes are specifically offered to help customers explore and test scents before committing to a full-sized bottle. Our provision of small samples is designed to allow customers to assess their liking for a fragrance before investing in a more expensive full-sized bottle.
Mistakes: In case of receiving the incorrect fragrance, notify us within 3 days of receiving your shipment. Provide details and attach a picture of the product as received. Replacements will only be issued if a clear image of the full order or the incorrect fragrance is provided.
Inspection and Contact: Upon receipt of your package, please inspect it and contact us within 3 days if any issues arise. We will not replace or exchange items beyond this time frame.
Shipping Fees: All shipping fees paid for the original order are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless an error occurred in our shipment or the goods arrived damaged.
Order Verification & Right to Cancel
To help protect our customers and prevent unauthorized transactions, all orders are subject to review and verification prior to shipment.
L'acqua Dolce Perfumes reserves the right to cancel, refuse, or place any order on hold at our sole discretion if we are unable to verify the payment information or if an order appears to present an elevated risk of fraud or unauthorized use. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Multiple failed payment attempts.
- Mismatched billing information.
- Billing and shipping information that cannot be verified.
- Orders flagged by our payment processor or fraud detection systems.
- Use of anonymous proxies, VPNs, or other methods that prevent identity verification.
- Any activity that reasonably suggests the order may be unauthorized or fraudulent.
If an order is canceled prior to shipment, any captured payment will be refunded to the original payment method. We may contact the customer to request additional verification before processing certain orders; however, we are under no obligation to do so before canceling an order.
L'acqua Dolce Perfumes reserves the right to refuse service or cancel any order at any time, with or without notice, when necessary to protect our customers, our business, or our payment processing systems.
International Orders (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain & Canada)
L'acqua Dolce Perfumes currently ships internationally to Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
By placing an international order, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Customs, Duties & Taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, VAT, customs fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
L'acqua Dolce Perfumes has no control over these fees and cannot estimate their amount.
Delivery Times
International delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to customs inspections, carrier delays, weather conditions, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control. Delivery dates are not guaranteed.
Refused Shipments
If an international shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid customs duties, taxes, import fees, or an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, any refund will be issued only after the package has been returned to us and inspected.
Original shipping charges, return shipping costs, customs fees, carrier charges, and any other expenses incurred in returning the package will be deducted from any eligible refund.
EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order, without giving any reason.
How to start a return or cancellation:
- If you checked out with an email address, log in to your account and submit your request through your order history.
- If you checked out with a phone number only, use the return link in your SMS order confirmation to submit your request.
Returning items: You must send the items back within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. Items must be returned unused and in their original sealed packaging.
Exemptions: Please note that perfumes and fragrance products that have been opened or used are exempt from the right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, as they are sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once unsealed.
Refunds: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will refund the purchase price plus the standard delivery cost (we do not refund premium or express shipping upgrades). Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned items.
Return shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.
